I'm a Senior Foundations Engineer at Virta Health. I work across infrastructure and platform teams to build reliable systems, improve developer tooling, and help teams find a shared technical direction.

I started in frontend development, moved into full-stack and backend work with Ruby on Rails and Python, and eventually found my way into DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering. These days I spend a lot of time with Go, TypeScript, Kubernetes, GCP, and Terraform.

I'm a Vim nerd, and my editor is a hobby in its own right. Modal editing, keyboard-driven workflows, and tinkering with my dotfiles are very much my thing. There's always one more small tweak to make.

Away from work, I enjoy tabletop role-playing games, photography, and building side projects for the web. You can find my photography at photon.photography. Side projects give me room to follow an idea, try a different stack, and make something just because I want it to exist.
